Our Classes

Join us in our studio gym, centrally located in Hanmer Springs, Canterbury.

Functional

Our Functional class is 45 minutes in duration and incorporates strength training, bodyweight movements and cardiovascular exercises.

All sessions are expertly coached and thoughtfully planned. Over time, attendees will achieve a large, well-rounded base of fitness.

The class structure involves the workout explanation, exercise demonstration and thorough warmup followed by the workout. The workouts are scalable to your individual fitness level to accommodate all levels of fitness from beginner to advanced.

BoxFit

BoxFit is a high intensity interval class for all levels of fitness.

The class is 45 minutes in duration, where you will be guided through 9 rounds of 3-minute intervals.

The session incorporates traditional boxing drills on the focus pads and heavy bag, combined with cardio machine and bodyweight exercises to give you a full body, heart pumping workout.

Personal Training

If you prefer to train privately, have a specific goal, or are unable to attend classes, we offer one-on-one, partner, and small-group sessions.

Our Trainers

Tom Hay, Trainer

Tom has over 15 years’ experience as a trainer. He completed a Diploma in Applied Sport and Exercise Leadership (Personal Training and Exercise Prescription) at the Otago Institute of Sport in 2009.

He went on to complete the CrossFit Level 1 trainer certificate in 2010 and has spent many years coaching group fitness alongside his personal training business.

Rebecca Hay, Trainer

Rebecca has many years of experience in fitness and coaching. She has represented New Zealand in Surf Life Saving, competed at the highest level in New Zealand and Australia at the CrossFit Regionals and has also completed her CrossFit Level 1 certificate.

Rebecca has a passion for teaching. She is the Deputy Principal and sports coordinator at the local school and enjoys helping others to advance their abilities, whether it be in the classroom or on the sports field.

Book a Session

Please note: Class bookings are non-refundable due to the limited class capacity. No credit can be given to be used for a class at a later date. The invitation is to choose a plan, and commit.
